Does anyone have a spare 727 (Ref: 1970) valve body laying around that they can take a quick measurement for me?

I am looking for the maximum stroke of the 1-2 shift valve during operation. Or, does the spring pressure determine the stroke?

Thank you!
Dave

The maximum travel is when the end of the valve contacts the PTK module or cover plate, there is no partial travel in normal operation. Look on the PTK module or cover plate, you'll likely see a witness mark where the valve tip contacts it.
