RestoreCuda OP member R Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 62 Ohio	I recently looked at a Hemi Blk dated 6/8/69 with no numbers or symbols on the distributor pad. The VIN pad is 0G followed by the sequence #. Is this a warranty blk with the VIN restamped? Sorry if this has already been covered.

ScottSmith_Harms Mr Wizzard Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 42,714 Spokane Washington	No such thing as a "Serial" number on a Hemi. Post clear pics of your discoveries and we can give you more feedback. Also look on the oil pan rail extension (rear on bottom) for other stampings.

B5 Bee master Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,020 Pangaea	There are only a few dist pad numbers on a '70 Hemi block, usually just the WT (water test) stamp and the assembly date. The '66 and '67 had BH426 and CH426 stamps, the XH426 stamp was eliminated for '68 and up. If no numbers at all exist, it's been decked. It wasn't common for the dealer to restamp a VIN on a warranty block.
