I purchased this one a few months ago with 275/60-15 radials mounted on 15x10 wheels. They are 4.5 inches of backspace and fit nicely. Thanks, do you have 8s on the front?

Thanks, do you have 8s on the front? The truck had the same 15x10 275/60 on all four corners. Didn't care for the look, so they have been traded off already. I am about to order a set of Chrysler police wheels in 15x6 front and 15x8 rear. MT Sportsman ST 225/70 and 275/60. Going with the 4 inches of backspace in the rear to keep them set out with the skinnier wheel. Having a hard time finding a street tire that is wide and especially tall enough to look correct on a truck.

Going with 15x10 on a 5 on 5 offset. For the front Im going 15x8. The tires in the rear are 275/60 and the front 255/60.

I know you’ve discussed this truck previously but in case the steering box brace / frame reinforcement hasn’t been keep in mind the later 70’s trucks with 15x8 front wheels are prone to frame cracking! Might be the time to box that frame rail! Red

just depends on what look you are after and fits correctly.
on my 85 stepside stock width 9 1/4 5on 5.5 stock spring set up I ran a 10x15 with 3.75 backspace with a 32x11.50x15 mud tire. filled the fenders right up when loaded but never rubbed.
swapped to a A-body 8 3/4 to tuck 12x15 rims 4.5 backset with a 29x15x15 M/T with spring under axle/rear shackle flip fits perfect in fender tubbed to frame rails. FYI..A-body & truck chassis share the same 43" spring perch centers.A-body bolts right in a truck with a shackle flip/axle on top of spring.
swapped a 67 c-body same as e-body 8 3/4 with a 10x15 4.5 backspace 29x9.50x15 mud tire.
with tubs and stock width 9 1/4 I fit the 10x15 with 7" backspace 29x15x15 M/T center of tubbs
run 8x15 with 4.5 backset 235/75/15 on front. have steer box frame support/swaybar added on.
have a set of 3x15/265-15 1.5 backspace drag skinnys that fit up front perfect on a truck also.
I will let you know how my stock width truck axle/tubs/14x15 with 7" backspace 31x21.50x15 M/Ts fit on the gasser build I am doing.
FYI..fit the wheel/tire combo 1/4" off the leaf spring/tire bulge and adjust fender wells as needed. stock width truck axle- usally 4.5 backset with stock tubs and up to 7" with tubs.
nothing like a set of fattys under a stepside. imo
