Looking to install AC on my 74 Stepside. Looking for ideas on which kit to run. I have a Sanden compressor with the appropriate brackets as well as pulleys. Will I need To run a throttle silnoid?

The need for a throttle solenoid varies with the installation. I would wait until the system is in operation and add the solenoid only if needed.

On my Sport Satellite with factory AC, there is no idle solenoid . . . however, I would like to add one, not because engine speed issue, but because of the lack of charge at idle and even worse with the AC compressor on, and blower fan on hi . . . oh, and it would also assist with a bit more airflow over the condenser & radiator too . . . .
