Yup, definetely a 20 footer... OK, so maybe a 19.5 footer. They should give you a medal for modesty. I received a medal for modesty once. But they took it away when I wore it.

Some more buffing progress. Hoping to have it buffed in the next couple days, then start installing parts.

Was a very long but productive weekend. Car is buffed, and I started reassembling. Got a ways to go, but overall I'm happy with how it is turning out.

REALLY NICE JOB SO FAR Used DBC for the base coat, and the local parts store EuroClear. Was hesitant on the clear at first, but I absolutely love the stuff. Sprays nice, lays out decent, wet sands nice, and buffs better than any clear I've ever used. I want to say the clear is made by Valspar, but not 100% sure.

BE CAREFUL THAT YOU ENDED UP WITH A GOOD MIL THICKNESS, SOME OF THE AFTERMARKET CLEARS REQUIRE THREE COATS OR MORE IF SANDING AND POLISHING. BUT IN YOUR CASE ITS GOING TO GET SANDED AND RECLEARED AGAIN DOWN THE ROAD, I THOUGHT I READ THAT A FEW PAGES BACK AGAIN NICE JOB, I CAN APPRECIATE IT BECAUSE I DO THIS STUFF MYSELF. YOUR TIME AND EFFORT REALLY SHOW. PICS NEVER DO THIS STUFF JUSTICE IM SURE ITS KILLER IN PERSON

It has 4 coats of clear on it. First coat was pretty light and dry. Second and 3rd coat were medium coverage, and didn't look bad. $th was because I had enough mixed up, to cover it, and didn't want to just waste it, since I knew I'd be wet sanding and buffing anyways. I'll knock it all back down with 1000 grit, before having the lettering, and pin striping done.

LATELY I HAVE BEEN USING ALL NAME BRAND HIGH SOLIDS CLEARS, TWO COATS MAX AND IT ALWAYS LOOKS GREAT AT JUST TWO COATS. CUTS BACK ON THE LABOR TIME, AND MATERIALS...I ALWAYS DUMP IT BACK IN THE CUP BETWEEN COATS TO SEE HOW MUCH I SWHOULD BE MIXING....IF I HAVE TOO MUCH MIXED, I DUMP IT RATHER THAN PUT IT ON THE CAR. AGAIN, LOOKS GREAT, AND YOUR IDEA TO CLEAR AGAIN LATER IS GREAT, ANY SOAKAGE AT ALL YOULL DENFINITLEY GET RID OF IT THEN.
