How many of you guy's use the Sunoco brand of fuel, my fuel guy, has changed brands this year, went from Citgo to Sunoco, and I have got to get a barrel of fuel, I liked the Citgo fuel, ran good in my car, but can't get it locally anymore, so I am going to have to go to the Sunoco, anyone have problems with it, or good results, need some input,

Thanks Dave

I have run through a barrel of "Supreme" (112) 110 motor octane, switched from Torco when they went down the tubes. 15:1 compression and have zero complaints

thats all i use in my cars.i use to use vp,but can not get it anymore.the vp is a better fuel IMO.you can tell the differnce when you tear the motor down.you can wipe the pistons clean with a rag with the vp fuel.the sunoco leaves behind a lot more residue, not as clean.

I agree, the VP is very clean.

I switched to Sunoco 112 this year purely on cost and like it. I can get 112 for 8.03 a gallon vs. 11.00 something for C12.

I've been using Sunoco Purple since I started racing. Never a problem, works great, consistent and doesn't seem to deteriorate over time (Always passed in fuel check while other fuels sometimes have had issues. Guys stand in line with their hands over the fuel cup to minimize chemical evaporation.)

I use the Sunoco Standard fuel most of the time and have never had a problem.
At A-1 in NJ a barrel of standard was $425.00
Supreme and Maximal were $525.00 a barrel.

There is theroretically no difference between them, I used to run Sunoco Purple and now Citgo 110 and saw Zero change in the car.

When changing/comparing fuels, it is sometimes necessary to try different jetting for a valid comparison.

Supreme around here seems to run $9.00 a gallon at the track or $495 for a 55 gal. drum if you have a drum to trade + a $5.00 fee....
