Rocker arm side clearance

I put some Harland Sharps on some 240 trick flows. And have .004 rocker arm side clearance . Seems odd they move pretty freely, but. I thought this was unusual some are even less, anyone experience this? Probably going to machine .015 off the spacers

Make adjustments as necessary.

I would be OK with .005 or .006. Don't want them sloppy loose, don't want them tight either. I spent the time making them all equal and centered on the valve.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
