Yesterday was test and tune. So, after 4 years of building. I took her to the track. I'm way rusting on the lights and I only got to make two passes. All and all I'm happy. My car number is 3X55 or left lane in time slips below.

Did it go straight and not do anything unexpected?
New cars can have issues after several good runs once all the parts wear in to each other is what I've been told in the past so I'm wondering if yours is doing that yet confused
Car looks good, I have a 1969 Dart GTS H code 4 speed car that I use to drag race with a 440 and 727 back in the early to mid 1990s before I found out is was a GTS and not GT like all the badges and emblems say on it shock work
Mine is Hemi Orange also but it was that color when I got it back in 1991, it is a F8 green color originally.
It is for sale now with a mild blue printed and balanced 383 and 4 speed that has less than 3500 miles on it from the partial restoration to put it back on the street in 2001.

Well, the car went perfectly straight! The trans and motor are from my old car. Later this year I'm going to install a indy low deck. Thank you for the compliment!!

Nice. Do you have a build thread for this car? Or a build album on a pic hosting site?
I always love seeing transformations of what someone started with

I posted some build pictures awhile back. I'll see if I can find the link.

Congrats on the successful first outing and car looks great. Looks like there is plenty of room for improvement by tuning the car/chassis. BTW nice truck too smile

Thanks. Similar to my 511, but less compression than yours.

Very nice !
First times out are always a little nerve wracking for me , and I am getting ready to do it again.
I can only hope to perform like yours .
With only twp laps , did that put any pressure on you ?
I am hoping for a test day that isn't overly crowded.
I'd like to try an launch a couple times before I see how it behaves on the big end.

Very well done👍The two passes are very consistant, figuring there might have been a slight weather change?
