I stopped using Bc seats years ago and switched to nickel bronze seats. First I've heard of coated seats.
It would be easy to call Ferrera and ask them.
Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

Coated valves last longer. The reason for BC seats is removing heat from the valve. Mold star 90 is the premier seat material.
When you think about having to machine the seat after installation, I'm not sure how you'd go about coating the seat, unless the entire head had to endure the process.
I'd say there was a misunderstanding, but who knows. Agree...misunderstanding. CRN coated Ti valves will have a good service life on convention seats provided the valvetrain is 'happy'.

Be somewhere else when anything with beryllium in it is machined.
