JMCFAN OP top fuel J Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,090 New Mexico	When I got my 383 back from builder he recommended a zinc additive. Its been a while... but it ready now.. what are folks using and why? 68 Charger 383/ AT Green/Green VT 70 Roadrunner 383/4sp Purple/Black VT

Has additives for flat tappets as well as additives for prolonged storage periods. Available in full synthetic or dinosaur. Good stuff. BDW master Joined: May 2005 Posts: 4,707 Florida	Whatever oil is on sale and Lucas break in. $15 bottle is good for 3 oil changes. Much more cost effective than paying $10/qt for "racing" oil.
