Looks like a nice auxiliary lite for deer thirty commutes. Wouldn't consider it a head lite though.
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

The headlights in my Durango are pretty sad, even with new lenses and bulbs. I just ordered a pair of these to give them a try. Tim

I pretty much had it after towing with a friends new 17 truck... man it lit things up. My 01 sucks!! I installed these and wired them in with my fog lamps. I also aimed them fairly low. My first trek into the darkness I thought I had wasted my $$$.... WAY bright! Wasn’t until my race-cation last summer that I tried them. First was on a divided interstate. Cool! Nobody’s flashing me! Even on two lane roads I only had a couple people flip their brights at me. Lowered the adjustment ever so slightly. Still helps me immensely and everyone else seems to tolerate them.

Finally had a chance to install them (I actually ordered the 6.5 inch 36w lights) and wired to my factory fog lights also. All I can say is WOW!!! I never knew how dim my stock head and fog lights were. J_BODY was right on the money. They are definitely game changers. Only change I am going to make is to trigger them off my high beam headlight circuit instead of the fogs. I would rather drive with just low beams and the new lights on with highs. Tim

Easiest for me was to trim the upper grille bars and mount them there. I originally wanted to mount them behind the grille but not enough room on a Durango/Dakota. Since it's a beater DD anyway it's fine for me but probably not what you would do with yours. Tim

I have.
2014 1500, replaced all 4 bulbs with supernova v3, I think it was. Low beam was easy, the high beam conversion was a pain in the neck, drilling, plugging and stuffing the cavity in the headlight. Pay particular attention to the orientation of the light elements.
It was a big improvement on low beam, the high beam was only more light in the same area, but reached no further, so, for me was no better than using the lows. Which of course is what is used probably 99% of the time any how.
There is a v4 now for the high beams, and I am tossing the idea around to try them. Supposed to be a big improvement.
Go to Headlight revolution to see the comparison. Good Ram light info.
BTW, bulbs are different between 2 bulb and 4 bulb systems, before you order.
About $200 per pair of bulbs when I got mine, and if I had known that the high beam side would be so little of an improvement over just the lows I would have waited, but it does look like the v4 might be worth it.
I am very happy with the low beam ones, though. WAAAY better.
They will require adjustment, several actually, before oncoming traffic stops high beaming you.
And remember you have no left/right adjustment, only up/down.
It takes gasoline to interest me.
