Hi buddys,
I've received a job offer from the company that I'm currently working to move to US... So this month I've moved from Brazil to US. I'm temporarily in a Hotel in Grinnell - IA but I'm looking for a place in Iowa City.
I know that's no race season because of the winter but Mopar Friends, let me know if someone wants introduce to me.
Maybe in the future I will bring my car from Brazil. Probably will be the only one Brazilian Dodge Charger in US.
Thanks
Diego

We are short on drag strips up here in the Minneapolis area , but once you are acclimated , like most Iowans you will want to come up to the Minneapolis / St.Paul area to spend the butter and egg money. Mall of America and professional sports teams probably top that list. We have Grove Creek some 70 miles west of town....an 1/8th mile track , Rock Falls is about 85 miles east , near Eau Claire , Wisconsin , and they leg it out the full 1320. Then Brainerd International , which doesn't run as often , but has some great races when they are running. They are around 140 miles north of me. If you are planning a trip up this way , I would be happy to be tour guide. Welcome to America , and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

If you end up in Iowa City, there are plenty of race tracks near by. Cedarfalls, and Earlville are close. Byron Illinois is a good track also. In June you will have to make the trip to Mopars in the Park, in Minnesota. It's a great show.

Welcome! I grew up north of Iowa City and raced at cedar falls and then earlville when it opened. Without mapping it out I'd think Cordova, IL might be the closest to you.

Thank you Guys, I'm little bit afraid with your comments about Iowa... lol. So far I'm enjoy this place.
Thrust me, in Brazil I just have only one decent track to run 5 times per year.
When the season start, I will do a road tripping for all tracks that I can. lol
Maybe in 2020 my car will be here and I can go back to the track.

Glad to hear that near Cedar Rapids has a nice Track. At the summer I will be there for sure!!! I'm looking a place around Tiffin, Iowa City, Coralville or North Liberty. I'm working in Victor, for Victor Mfg.

Sounds good heard about street class. Right now I've rented a house and can looking forward with the ideia that bring my car from Brazil but should be just on next winter.
But if anyone needs some help on this season, please let me know...
By the way, I started to buy some tools to work on cylinder heads around here.
Thank you guys!!!
