Got my Caltracs from them. The box rattled, powdercoating, everything beat up inside. Probably have to pay to return this junk. Now I remember why Summit is top dog. Just saying.

Damaged? Parts missing? In the original Caltracs packaging? I don't like Jegs either because of their website being so awful. But I'm not sure I'm seeing this. I have a can of Krylon Gloss Black that will fix that better than new.

Just contact them, im sure they will make it ok. S-it happens, only takes one goof to pack something wrong.

Summit is no different, things are just hit and miss.

Last set of lifters I bought from summit (Your Top Dog) was a opened box in the big box with 16 banged up (really banged up) solid lifters. One call, had a new set in two days and a call tag for the banged up ones.

GOOD LUCK!

Parts most likely drop shipped if any messed up Calvert will handle it with no problems

From knowing him and his brother he wouldn’t be happy with that solution. They not only have beautiful stuff but it runs great too. Jegs will make it right I’m about sure on that and your car will look perfect as always

Me too. I have guys come up to me at the track and thank me for NOT treating my car like a "show car." Sure it bothers me if when I climb in the window I put a small scratch on my paint with my belt, but not enough to make me lose weight so its not so dog-gone tight. LOL

Hey, last set of springs I got (from Summit) came with the center pin missing and the loose half-leaf taped to the bundle and the springs taped together. I'm more likely to think that was UPS' handling than Summit's shipping, and I'd bet the same on Jeg's.
In my case, I just replaced the pin & nut, but in yours, I'd call Jeg's. I'd bet they'll take care of it.
Unfortunately, it's not a perfect world...

I'm as anal as anyone. I'd fix it myself before sending stuff back and forth and it would look better than it did when it left Caltracs' place. Just sayin'.

Eh... Im not that anal, but man its pretty disappointing how hammered these are. Even the aluminum bushings are beat up. Im sure some would keep them, each to their own I guess. thumbs

Part of why I try not to ship heads during the holidays.

Your prized possessions get that little extra bit of love and care from the shippers this time of year.

You know what they say...shipping is like sausage making!!!!

Most people have no idea how hard your items are tossed about when shipped.

Stuff like that is shipped how the manufacturer packs them. Jegs doesn't get part in, unbox and repack it. Like mentioned, bad time of year for stuff to be handled with care. I'm just happy when stuff actually shows up, usually late til after the holiday mess it over.

In order to keep costs down both Jegs and Summit drop ship as often as possible. Less shipping costs for them and less stock inventory

Not Jeg's fault. Jeg's is no better or worse than Summit, on anything. I agree that Summit's website is easier to use though.
I'd call Jeg's, or even Calvert Racing...I bet one of em will make it right.

Pretty sure my last set of front springs were trial fit on something from the scratches and questionable packing. No worries.... my stuff isn’t pretty smile
