Some of the low-buck single-turbo deals are cool - Dizuster's '62 is my all-time favorite - as are big motors with tall gears that low-stress their way to ridiculous ETs.

I got one & i even get a chick to drive it to stir up the lads. Shes second in our track series, 10 points behind the leader & 60 points ahead of 3rd.

My car almost fits that, 3800lbs, N/A, mid-10s on the motor, but has a 493, don't get to run very often unfortuneately.

My only question is, how is a E body that heavy?

Well, as for my car, it weighs 3580 and I'm 260lbs, lol, mine is steel other than the hood, has two layers of sound deadening,carpet, back seat, Gear Vendor, full length exhaust with the old Top Ten Shootout Flowmasters(like 35lbs each)16 gallon cell, etc.

All steel except for standard replacement T/A replica hinged glass hood, full interior except for rear seat, 8-point mild steel rollbar, 200# driver... scaled 3755# at MIR with less than a half tank of fuel. It's probably gained a few lbs since then, too.

I like threads like these because I have a 451 pump gas A-body (very near completion, just have to put new springs on and get the front end aligned), licensed, street-legal and insured, that's significantly lighter than a B or E. So I'd be quite happy with high 10's...

Statute of limitations says if it happened more than 10 years ago then it didn't happen at all.

The car last ran in 2009, so all my ET slips in the 10.5s must still be legit.

Looks like you're getting close to 10 years though, better get it back to the track!

Yeah, that's pretty much the 10-year mark.

Very cool car, so I'll ignore that you have 153 cubes more than I do and heads that likely flow more on the exhaust side than my old 310-CFM intake Stage VIs did when it last hit the track.

I'm probably one 70* F day away from pulling the last of the brite trim off and blacking out the rest of the grill.
