A 572 Mega Block shortblock is available for purchase, and i would like to know which brand of rods are in it. I'm hoping that someone can ID the rods from the pics. The seller purchased it over 10 years ago, and can't say for sure exactly which rods are in it. He has a specs list somewhere... he's looking for it
I also would like to get some opinions on the Keith Black crank. How does it compare to Callies, Bryant, etc.? It's not a used 'top fuel' crank. This was a new piece when the motor was built, and accepts a torque converter.

thanks for the help!!

Not sure about the crank but it looks like Crower Billet rods.

I hope I'm right on that but it sure looks like it. I sold a set last year ONLY because I'm switched over to chevy sized rods on all of my big blocks. I refused to sell them for years just to make sure. Very nice rods.

I bought a used set of Crower billet steel BB Chevy type rods along with a Windberg 4.25 stroke crankshaft for a low deck, those rods do not have nuts on them confused
I'm not sure how old my rods are, I did call Crower to find out about them and they told me based on the rod bolt numbers those rods are good for 1000 HP + boogie
I've had a bunch of different steel H beam and I beam rods, cheap Chinese imports, CAT, Scat, Eagle as well as U.S. made Manley, Molnar and Carillo rods. All of hem have worked well so far luck shruggy

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
