Trying to figure out which weatherstrips I have, and which I will need, for my '72 Swinger hardtop. It was literally a basket case when I got the rolling shell quite a few years ago.

A look through Steele Rubber's site shows the obvious long ones for the doors and hardtop. Already replaced the trunk seal. Also one for the hood-cowl, and radiator. But are there supposed to be others?

There is quite a gap between the front valance and the bumper, for example. Should there be a seal there? Can someone point me to a diagram or catalog page? Thanks for any info.

Nothing in that area. Do you have the grille in yet?

No... looks like I have to take the bezels off each end (screws are rusted solid to the clip nuts, naturally). There would be no way to reach the bolts that hold the grille mounting brackets to the fender with the entire grille assembled and the bumper and valance mounted.

I don't even remember how I removed it. Or it may have come off in pieces, possibly by the previous owner, and then reassembled to avoid losing pieces shruggy

I've been turning wrenches for over 40 years but tried to avoid body/paint/interior stuff. It's so time consuming, expensive, and doesn't make the car run any faster! realcrazy

Fender splash shields. Rubber to the outer fender and a stiff tar like seal up top surface.
