Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything so here goes....what equipment, (other than a stripe, lack of trim, engine code) differentiated a Super Bee from a standard Coronet in 1968?

Grille & tail blackout, Bee decals & badging, domed R/T-style hood, deluxe (not base-level) interior, HD suspension, 11" brakes, 335-horse 383, Rallye dash/Charger gauges as mentioned. Can't recall if there was a stainless cap on the B-pillar like RR Decor coupes. My buddy's had the small wrinkle-finish air cleaner, can't recall if it had the pie plate.

Torsion bar diameter and rear leaf spring part#, which is stamped into a bottom leaf. Shiok absorber part # too, though the originals are probably long gone. Bear in mind though that HD suspension & 11" brakes could be optioned on most anything short of Hemi cars; I once owned a '70 Satellite wagon that was ordered by the original owner as though it was a Road Runner. It had the 11" brakes, HD susp, and the normal 383 4-barrel. Looking at your other post, it seems your car is a legit Bee, only with a curious scheduled production date, which like I said is interesting; it shouldn't detract from your enjoyment of the car, it rather sets it apart.

A lot more than a dash. Big brakes, HD suspension, dual exhaust, induction and maybe more than that. A standard B body started life out as a 318 body with provisions for a single exhaust pipe, the other pipe was added after the fact. Yes, you could order the other stuff, but you said a standard Coronet. Induction ? All 68 B bodies have the provisions for dual exhaust, 4 dimples in the floor where the holes are stamped out , or drilled , for the added bolt on plate , only the right side bracket was welded on ... but you knew that ...
running up my post count some more .
