Doesn’t sound like the kind of scenario that would make one puff out their chests as much as the 405 crew does.

From what I understand they raced in San Jacinto. I did not attend.
Both sides had access to the "track" on Tuesday to test and they raced on Wednesday. The local guys/gals got at least 2 of the 11 races. The street racers around here just don't have the high end stuff the 405 has.

Very true on the equipment side for sure. A couple known guys made their usual TV showing. I know the results of the entire two days of racing. The place they were racing is a very well known and as good as some racetracks for sure. Will be racing this weekend again, either there or by the windmills but NOT for the TV crew, just money.

I can attest to that. There were a few I could think of I thought I might see on that episode that didn't make the trip or weren't asked obviously. On a side note my wife is from Hamilton wink

Sad to say, but I'm about done with the show. Tonight was horrible. Big queef is a...well...a giant queef.

The rest of the OG guys are getting useless.

One more bad show and I'm done.

Kind of pathetic with all the games that are going on. The show is ready to implode before our eyes.

Blame it on the producers. I’m sure that they are pushing for more “ drama”, because they think that’s what everyone wants to see.
This isn’t in defense of Chief, just saying why I think all this ‘ tention’ BS is happening.

Like many have mentioned before, "made for TV" drama. I think it's circling the toilet now. At least Chuck hasn't sucker punched, spit on or shoved anyone in a while. lol

I was running through the channels last night, stopped for a few mins when I came upon the show......... could have been 5 mins out of pretty much any show this season. SSDD.

I kept surfing.

Talked with a friend yesterday who watches this stuff and he said those big out of town guys are using the Hemi engine now. Any truth to this since I don't watch?

They may lose the people who watch to see the actual racing... but look at all the crap on tv now, it's what the casual viewer wants apparently. The drama will keep it around for years til it flames out like American Chopper.

The no prep series is what ruined it for me. I don't think this show has changed that much, but after watching the no prep show, it makes the part of this show I don't like stand out more.

There is an interview on FB or something that Reaper did this AM. I don't do Facebook but I could still watch it. It's about 42 minutes long and he covers some interesting stuff.

I'd post the link but I don't know how. Maybe someone could look it up and post it.

I grew up around guys like that!! So I'm used to it.

I do know I may have to go on Facebook. As much as I don't want to, it seems that's where it's happening.

I’ve found lots of deals on Facebook, entered races that would have sold out before I knew about them, and just last night found out one of my old Street racing friends from 40 years ago passed away. We lost touch of each other and become Facebook friends again several years ago
