My 63 Belvedere has stock steering and stock K member. Old pan was Milodon 31010 deep sump. Too low for my street use. Road rash and subsequent hole in the pan. I am careful with it but roads in the midwest are not forgiving.

I desire a minimum 6 QT pan and want to keep depth at or near 5-1/2. I've been all over the web and have talked to Mancini, Van's and Schumacher. Nothing that fits the bill.

I did read that any 62-65 BB B Body oil pan will clear the k-member. Any experience with that out there?

I am also planning to raise front suspension an inch as well but I would like to keep the pan under 6" deep.

Any ideas on who might "reman" something that would work?

Thanks!!

the pan has to have the pass side drop down between the 2 and 3 bolt hole. i will look tomorrow to c if i have one. we used to run a 65 coronet sedan. if u use a later one u have to chop k member.

Ron has a 7qt Moroso pan on his 64 Sport Fury's stroker RB and says it fit with no K frame mods needed. I also need one for my 64 Belvedere's 383. Maybe Ron will give us info & pics again.

This is another one of those rare items I can't believe somebody isn't repopping at a reasonable price. If there was a repop Max Wedge pan, I'll wager they'd sell briskly.

I use the Moroso 7 qt pan and it fits great. No modifying at all. I have the stock K-frame and stock suspension. It fits right in and has never bottomed out on the street. Ron

I don't have P/S so maybe that's why I did not have to modify anything. You know my pan may be the same pan as I really don't remember if its listed as an 8 or 7 qt but I know when I change my oil and add 7 qts after running it to make sure the filter is full it reads right on full with a stock dipstick. I usually also add a small bottle of zinc additive at every oil change. Ron
