make sure what ever you choose, they fit the wire size. my one buddy was chasing a miss and i discovered he crammed 8.5mm wires into 7mm wire holders like rocky described. the hold downs, when tightened, pinched the insulation so much the inner core was cracked, causing the miss.

I basically used the factory routing with a set of 74-5 wires on my 72 400 and due to the longer wires I was able to cut off ends when needed to change to straight boots where needed.

My Taylors are cut to fit. That and they are at least 8mm.You can always open the holes a bit or not tighten them real snug if the wires are big.Mine have been on at least 15 years.Just changed my Taylors because they were as old and used another new set.Rocky
