truck rail # on my 70 super bee reads 70 then a large spacing in between the next set of number which reads 74178. My vin read as in picture the 178 at the beginning of the vin. my history of the car doesn't show this ever being replaced. I would think the 178 would indicate it is to this car. Any opinions as being to this car?

What does your radiator core support reflect? If should be 178431.. Lynch Road was always peculiar..

There's nothing to say that the factory couldn't have screwed up.. If your mopar-forensics sees nothing has been modified or changed out back there, need it could be a screw up.. I would be curious to see any Lynch Road '70 B-bodies and their stampings.
