Most likely another stupid question? Is the oil pan with number "402" stamped on it the 6-quart correct one for the 1970-1971 440 Sixpack engines? Appreciate any help from our forum of Moparology experts

I believe the hemi/6-pk used the same pan in 70'

402 was used on the 69 A12 440 sixpack as well as 68-69 383 & 440 B bodies but not 70 & 71 440+6

The 402 was also used on 383's in B and E bodies , 70 , probably 71 also. It has a 4 qt sump .
