Nice. I wonder what the Race section folks would think of these numbers. someone over there will have to diss the #s because it's a G3 and not some 40+ year old piece of beat on stressed over worked block.

I will be honest I do not know if these numbers are good or not. Can someone school me? Thanks those #s are an indication as to how much you can bore out the block and still have sidewall. they also tell us how much strength is there, #s that thick would tell me that cylinder deflection at Higher RPMs should not be an issue. the #s for the block casting 5037471BF(early SRT392 block) that's in my truck are about .060 thinner, interesting thing is Cylinder #1 is .180 in the same spot as your .183 , and the .169 in #8 is .175 on my block.

Mat are those #'s average from top to bottom ? or just the top, middle or bottom ? that .183 # on that #1 front...is daring me to punch one of these all the out to a 4.2 bore, but that .169 in the back side of # 8 is telling me stop 4.185.
After I posted this , I need to talk to a " friend"
I won't tell you who , but last year I did a hellcat block for someone who didn't want to deal with the "big guys" in G3 Hemi builds.... He wanted to go all out max bore and after talking to some of the big guys and being told max is 4.1 for boost ,he read some of my earlier post about trying 4.06 bore in 5.7 blocks and figured most people don't believe a word I say anyway so why not have me do it. After seeing the sonic #s off of his stock Hellcat block, we decided to try our luck with a 4.16 bore our lowest # after bore was .110 on Cylinder #8 bellhousing side. we went with J&Es a 4.16 bore with a pin height of 1.04 and 23 CC dish ,we used 6.20 Carrillo rods and Molnar 4.05 crank . the 4.16 Bore X4.05 stroke yields a 440 with a rod ratio of 1.53 ………… 30 years ago I would not of tried this combo with a 1.53 rr...but it's his money. Over 120 passes and 18K miles later it's still going.....
That's my story and I don't care if people raise the BS flag

Just a bare block. Dont have the number but they dont offer a it anymore. At least I can"t find it. Fully machined. Maybe hone it with a torque plate. Matt

I dont think some of those numbers are right unless that block is siamese, mine is only siamese 1/2 way up the bores.

SRT 2011-2015 Block =5037471BF think VVT 5.7 but bigger bore core. BGE Block 2014 – 2018 (SRT392 2015-2018) = 5045475AD same externally as 68166434AD but different cylinder core, these are not siamese lower bores. Water jacket goes deeper then 5037471BF Hellcat Block = 2015 -2018 68166434AD lower part of the bores are not supposed to be siamese but all of the sonic #s I’ve seen so far indicates that the lower bores cores are dam close to each other if not touching ..I have not had the balls to cut one open yet. The other 2 block yes
And Yes any G3 hemi head will bolt on , if for some ungodly reason you wanted to choke a 450+CI stroker Hellcat block build with pre eagle heads…they’ll bolt on. I have never seen a srt392 with the big "BGE" casting letters on it but I admit I have only seen a few. I have only seen BGE truck and hellcat blocks with the "BGE" cast onto it. They are quite obvious at a glance different from the SRT 392 6.1 5.7 and 5.7 Eagle blocks externally by the ribs on the outer lower sides neer the cross bolts. The casting number on my block is 6824914aa and is siamesed 1/2 way up the bores, no need to cut it open just look down the water passage in the deck surface, you can see they are connected 1/2 way up from the bottom while the 5.7s are not. It also has deeper water passages the a 5.7 eagle or early 5.7, I have no checked others.

6824914aa is the casting # for the Hellcat block, curious Question where did you get your block was it out of a truck? a 2016 3500 ? I have a pair of 2016 core engines out of 3500s that have the hellcat casting # when I tear them apart I'll make sure to take a look thru the deck. The earliest 6824914aa I have here came out of a burned up 2015 Challenger the lower cylinder core touches on 1-3 3-5 but 5-7 you can see light between the cylinder cores ,but the passenger side all touch, the other 2 I have here I got thru my dealer and for all intense purpose are Siamese.. 2 of the builds I've done this year were Hellcat blocks 1st(2015 block) touched 1-3 5-7 between 3 &5 you could see light when I looked thru the deck, on and all passenger side touched and looked to be casted that way , the other which came from a 2016 all cylinder cores touched halfway down and is bored now to 4.20 and is in my nephews 2009 truck. 5037471BF has no outside ribs, and externally looks just like the 5.7s and 6.1a internally , as you stated the cylinder cores do not touch. All BGE blocks have the outside ribs and water jacket looks as if it's bulging out. it's my understanding that they are supposed to be independent bore core , incase a block needed to be sleeved...now things change and my info is looking to be outdated...I'll pay closer attention to it when I come across any others.
