MSD 8387 ready to run pro billet...has anyone used it? Is it a true performance piece or a good stock replacement. I can get one pretty cheap unused. Build is a 11:1 528, tfs 270’s, solid roller.....street/strip. Any clearance issues? Or better off with the standard MSD and a box?

It will most likely not clear the heads! Sorry to say, because it's a great distributor.

I've used the Pertronix Ignitor III RTR distributor on my mid 10 sec street car for 4 years and love it, but it also did not clear my Edelbrock heads on a 400 block. Lots of grinding on head and distributor to make it fit.
Simple 3 wire hookup and built in adjustable rev limiter.
