Can anyone post some pics of 71/72 b-body clutch pedals?
I had purchased a set, but they turned out to be E-body. I switched everything over, but to me, the seem way too close together. Trying to figure out where my mistake is. I feel swapping the pedals over to the correct steering column bracket should have worked fine.

Although the 71-2 B body and 70-72 E body 4spd pedals/arms look very close, they differ ever so slightly, It looks to me you have the correct 71-2 B body 4spd brake pedal, and definitely a 4spd 71-2 E body clutch pedal, the 71-2 B body clutch pedal arm has a subtle bend/curve in it that relocates it over to the drivers side when viewing it from the drivers seat, where as the E body clutch pedal arm is just straight when viewing from the drivers seat,...the E body 4spd BRAKE pedal PAD is welded offset towards the passengers side when viewing from the drivers seat, the 71-2 B body 4spd BRAKE pedal pad is centered on the arm... so either look for the correct 71-72 B body CLUTCH pedal, or remove the B BODY BRAKE arm that you have now, and remove/relocate/offset/reweld the BRAKE PAD to the E body configuration to gain some space between the mis-matched pedal ARMS... or if you have a press, you could block up the CLUTCH arm and bend it into the B BODY configuration/offset, you'll need to relocate/reweld the pedal pad "downward" slightly as "jogging" an offset into the CLUTCH pedal arm will shorten it slightly... it's up to you how you want to "skin this cat"
Here's a set of E BODY pedals, note the BRAKE pad offset...
