2005 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. Just finished putting a Mopar Performance cold air kit on it. Started it up and now I have the lightning bolt warning light lit up on my dash, which I understand indicates a problem with the throttle sensor. Only sensor I messed with was the Intake Air Temp sensor (moved it over to the MP cold air tube). Runs fine. Took a look at where the harness plugs into the TB and notice that about 4 wires are chaffed right through to the strands. Must’ve been pinched between the stock bat wing looking piece that attaches to the TB and the TB itself and must’ve been just so and didn’t cause any problems. I remove the batwing and it disturbs the wires, causing (I’m guessing) some kind of short or cross talk between the wires, giving me the lightning bolt. Can I just unplug the TB harness, fix it and plug it back in and be good to go or is there some kind of relearning that has to be done if the TB harness is unhooked?

I think the only thing you might have to do is slowly press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times with the key on and motor off. That may not be necessary but it can't hurt. I had to do that when I swapped throttle bodies.
