Info in package has four different rods and hole combinations to choose from but no recommendations.

(1) 1 to 1 ,(2)moderate progressive 25% primary throttle opening,(3)medium progressive 40% primary throttle opening and(4) full progressive 50% primary throttle opening.
Looking for best set up for transbrake and 2 step.
Tech line was no help at all. took him ten minutes to look up the info while I was on hold and he simply read back to me what I have typed above!!! Not even sure he understood what a transbrake is!

Why would trans brake make a difference on throttle ratio?

The throttle linkage set-up controls the secondary pumpshot using different rods and holes in the linkage to shoot into open throttle blades,25% opening,40% opening or 50% opening. When using a transbrake(stomping it to the floor on 2 step) having it improperly set can cause stalling, sputtering etc.
I'm looking for the best adjustment for a smooth transition.

I would put it in the 50 % hole to start with and go from there up scope
That way you can drive it in the pits and do a controlled burn out with the same setting work

I don't know the answer to your question but if it was me I'd go to the track and test #1 and #4. If you can't tell any difference then it doesn't matter. If there is a big difference then either use the setting that works the best or try #2 and #3.

You might need to play with the pump cam and/or the shooter size also to get the car to leave hard off the brake. Setting up a carb to leave off the brake is different than setting up a carb for a daily driver so you might have to forget what you know about carbs and start over.
