THESHAKERPROJECT OP super stock T Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 1,163 NORTHERN VA	Was there a dealer installed sunroof on 71 cars ?? I know they had factory installed (m51)sunroofs but were any dealer installed ?? If there was such a thing I assume it would be installed by an ASC sunroof installation center. Would it look just like a factory installed ASC sunroof ??

earlybee master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,064 Arlington, Texas	Yes and Yes. The factory sent them to ASC off the line when ordered. I drove new cars from the dealer I worked for to ASC in Dallas for the install back in the 70,s. They looked the same ether way.

So in 1971 I could go to the dealer and by a 71 Charger that had no sunroof and then have a dealer installed sunroof (they would send it to a local ASC installation ctr )and it would look just like a M51 code car sunroof.
