from my understanding anti freeze is a no no in a race car because of potential spills at the track. is there anything i can put in my radiator that is acceptable to prevent freezing

Use salt. Over time, it'll help lighten your block, too...

Okay, seriously, check w/ someone who sells red line products, IIRC their 'water wetter' might have dropped the freezing temp some, and it also helps lube water pump seals.

Oh and about the water... it's s'posed to be better if you use distilled/deionized water; won't corrode up the inside of the engine so bad.

You are suppose to have NO antifreeze in your coolant system at the track,my track even frowns about those additives too..and with good reason!!!

Water wetter/Purple ice etc, have no anti freezing
properties.Waterpump lube,anti scaling and foaming,and better cooling are there claims. Chris
