I was asked about the Planet Color paint via PM. I was planning on posting the result of testing wax on the test panel. It comes off but there is a glistening effect that the paint has untouched that the wax seems to reduce. Not seen in the photo. The upper left corner of this corner is waxed.

Water pump, the car was built 12-71. The engine is dated 8-71 IIRC

Brent might like this idea.

I had this made years ago for my Duster I believe and disregarded the date and recycled it on the Cuda

I don't recall the cost but it wasn't expensive. I had a stamp shop that was local to me at that time make it.

Stamping with paint can be tricky it takes practice

George took this today. short video

It left two marks on the side walk that will be there for some time

EDIT: a friend sent me this link. Notice it's not in the grass/show. I snuck in the back and just parked behind the last row of cars for an easy escape

I deal with all types to get parts, it's more work than building the car.
The auction showed this, a gauge with the correct silver pro comp bezel

Do these gauges bezels match? Funny they matched in his auctions. Now he's telling me they only make one style bezel without understanding what I'm conveying

Another ebay transaction gone poorly. A week passed after I paid the seller, and there was no message, no tracking number provided and no package.

So I inquired if the item had shipped yet. No response. I sent another message to inquire the following day to which he responded he was sorry he was out of town, and the item would ship Monday.

Today I get this.....

Hi (My ebay ID)
(Sellers ID) recently opened a cancel transaction case for an item you recently purchased: 66-74 Mopar A B E Body Cuda Driver Mirror Door Clip.

Reason for cancel transaction request: The item is out of stock.

Click the "Respond now" button to accept or decline this cancellation.

If you don't take action by Sep-15-2013, the seller will be able to cancel the purchase without your consent.

Another ebayer whose on the ball

It's a single small clip that he charges $3 to ship

Looks killer man! Lots different than it did next to the 3 million dollar hemi cuda at The Cannery! Keep it up!

I stumbled across this picture so I thought I'd add it. This was possibly from the very first Mopars at the strip. I went to the first few MATS so I'm not sure.

I ordered and received the correct gauge from Jegs and now have them mounted, I'll get back to working on this the car in about 2 weeks....

I had an idea on how I might find the original owner. I believe I already have his full name, but unfortunately his last name is very common in the Alb area.

WISH ME LUCK

I may start a project posting for my survivorish V21 - redoing the engine bay (with factory blackout on the cowl and other areas), stock appearing stroker 340 and front suspension. Would you mind if I posted in your thread because our cars are similar? I wouldn't be posting a million pics, but it could add to the '72 V21 database..lol

Now this is cool, I did get caught in the rain for a few minutes but not a biggie. I stopped by to see the owner of another V21 car. This car is coded for the G36 color keyed mirrors so it also had a painted grille as well

cool! This this the first time I have seen this stripe paint scheme and now 2 in one pic?!!!

I've only seen 2 others in person, and I've never seen one in a magazine (other than an RJ cars ad). A lot of mopar fans don't know this option existed.
