A little help from our friends on the Bullet mentioned this company....I looked them up and was surprised to find a Billet Hemi water block offered! I am scared to call and ask what a setup like this costs Normally Aspirated...

I think the water block was debuted for PRI, along with their LS platform.

It's very nice stuff, all done in house in Brisbane Australia. They are in California as well now, not sure they do any manufacturing there or not, or if it's just engines and block machining, repair etc.

Is Indy the only game in town for a Hemi with water jackets?

Noonan, strap on your big boy pants and get ready to WAIT. I've also heard, but don't know that it is true that you will need some specific parts for it as well. I hear people saying BAE can do it, but not what I've heard. Well not that they cant but that they don't. Indy and KB are the options. I know you seem to have an issue with your latest Indy/Hemi, have you ever figured that deal out?

True Dat Al.

We run Noonan heads on our BAE. I think your barking up the wrong tree, but maybe I am wrong. This requires a hole different skillset and budget from where you were at with the other Hemi. They are however, pieces of art, and killer.Make sure the checkbook is full before you call....lol...

8-12 weeks is not what I would call available...I am just looking to see what IS available. I am no where near the pocket book needed for a Sonnys or otherwise. I just want a good running Hemi and the ability to get parts when I need them.

Was someone running one of these in TAD at this weekend's Las Vegas race?

I saw one engine with the distributor in a unusual location.

I kinda thought it was one of Randy Meyer's cars but I was trying to work on my car and watch on an iPad and did not catch everything.

An 8-12 week wait is multitudes of time sooner than I would expect a single block from Noonan and at a fraction of the price for one.

Noonan have set up in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is to be a full machining shop, I’m not sure, but assume repairs as well.

I went through all the options, when I was looking for a replacement for my KB Block, at that time, I was unsure if the deal with Tim et al was going ahead.

As you know I spoke to BAE, as I knew they had a development Hemi water block, plus I know from good friends that the Brads perform superb, as is his after sales support. But they have no intention of restarting this program.

Then Noonan launched their Hemi water block at the PRI show. Noonans web site is not the best in the world & difficult to exact details, they can learn from BAE.. So I ended up writing, speaking to them.

The Noonan Block is an awesome piece of kit, but don’t expect it to be similarly priced to a Indy or KB Block. They utilise a 60mm Cam, along with RCD style front cover for gear drive. A lot of the BAE parts are interchangeable, other than any water cooled parts.

I’m not aware of what manifolds would be available for N/Aspirated.

The block & heads are reasonably priced, when considering the price of aluminium billets, machining time & development costs.

What really drives the cost is the incidentals: Gear drive & Cover, rockers & shaft set up, Valve covers, Valves ( prob cheaper if you don’t want Ti & Inconnel) crank, yada yada....

If you want to stay similar to your Indy set up,then I would highly recommend KB. My KB has been excellent & no issues. I believe this to be down to. A combination of KB & Tim Banning who built & supplied my package.

Blown it made around 1,100 -1,200hp, 1,000ft lbs on pump gas, I never got full figures, as Tim’s dyno at the time was close to maxed out.

I have now switched to Twin Turbo (88’s), not sure on exact power, it must be close to 1,500hp, again on Pump gas

I am hoping someday parts will again be more readily available. I have no need to make 1k hp, but wanting to stay Hemi, I decided to look and see what is out there.

You are correct in that no one, at least out of all the places I talked with really did more than one or two blocks, and feed back is little to nill on how they work. Nobody has plans to make anymore.

The Noonan was a surprise to see them as it seems more developed. Looking at their website, they are on par with Goodwin, Sonny's and BAE as far as pricing. And there is a lot of good feedback.

Would have loved a BAE cause I see more parts for those for sale than anything else. But at this moment, I just wanted to see what is available.

Nothing sounds like a High rpm Hemi....Mine is almost back and running. Maybe this week. I think I got the last known brand new block left....It was still in the original box. Went together really well too....

My goal will be to run this one till end of the season and then switch.
