An old military buddy called to say they were having a huge car show in a park just maybe 2 miles from here. So I fired up the Cuda and went over.
I am not a car show kind of guy, I just don't understand folks who will with a coke in thier hand lean right into your ride. The kids, studded purses, oh and the obese lady with the cane. I made it about 20 minutes and just had to leave. But I did find what I believe is a tiny mark in my quarter so I got a car show award.

There was a sweet T/A there though

EDIT I took Lauren for a cruise around the park where the show was and we played with a Gorgeous 69 Stang on massive meats on the stretch back just a lil throttle hopping....now thats fun.

I'm still not done with the interior install. I did the headliner but am going to have a local shop finish the rear corner that troubled me....

I've been enjoying it anyway. I had it out Monday since I was off, then I took it out again last night. I rolled up to a light with a Gorgeous 66 Mustang Fastback GT....

Stang: Nice car
Me: You too Man
Stang: What is it?
Me: 72 Cuda
He's hearing this.... idling
Stang: What's under the hood?
Me: 340 but it's a little warmed over..... then the light turned and I got in in just a little and the tires were rolling and I think I let off and grabbed second and the car was a little out of shape, I was stopped at the next light when he metered up......
Him: uh my 289 won't hang LOL

Too much fun. All work is on hold as I repay the Dart, the wife has a stash she was saving for the NFL season and she said I could use it...... I'll be into things again in another month or two. I went thru the brakes, and just need to rebleed them with a helper...mighty Vac was so-so. I'll do some ignition and carb work real soon and she'll be very driveable. I need a windshield and headliner and don't want to do those items twice but do want to drive it with the body as is. Our local Mopar show is this weekend

Brakes are important! Thats my plan with the Charger as well. Fronts are done. tranny and rear end Fluids all changed. Getting it ready. Get your car out and drive it......pull it back in during the winter and then restore things.

Of course My winters are a little longer than yours..Have fun at the show!!

If it was very drivable, you could sell it to me and I'd have it at the Nationals "as is" and tell the story

The mopar show was actually Saturday. My Bro in law saw a large grooup of Mopars in the park and called, so I managed to stop by there for a bit.
Sunday being Fathers day can be a little sad for me. My younger daughters put a smile on my face, then I got up and put some time in behind the wheel to brighten my mood. I went by to see a buddy of mine at a car show. He didn't show. They pointed me right in and parked me in the show so I stayed for a few. I then came home to enjoy my family.

Thanks Scott and Tom.

True Scott, I have an entire bookshelf full of Mopar mags and not a single photo shoot of a 72 V21 Cuda.

I only know of 2 cars similar to mine that are done. The Orange V21 car with the blower (he painted his lower grille body color) and the Blue V21

Blaine Kelly's Cyber Cuda was/is for sale by a well known dealer in Ohio. It has the G36 mirrors but wears an argent grille?

I'd love to have a shoot done with the blue car next to mine. Our cars are very similar

I'm off today and decided to do some odds and ends tward the completion of my Cuda.
Then I specifically used it to run by work because the fella's have been bugging me to drive it in. Everyone filed out to check it out.

I will say that I am relatively sure that the stock 6.4 Charger can't take my Cuda in a street light brawl and thats before working out all the kinks/tuning

Cruised dowwn one of my favorite roads and the rock station did not let me down.... it was a great day

I am trying to find the original owner of the Cuda. DMV gaurds this info tightly. So I am exploring some inventive avenues

This car had remnants of the factory stripe in the door jamb and inner doors but it was not coded for it on the data tag. Since I've even seen a Cuda coded for V21 on it's build sheet but not on the fender tag, I suppose it could be a dealer add on, or factory.

I'm hoping for a window sticker, and maybe a build sheet.

The wheels are set in motion, now to go work on the car and wait to see what happens should know in a week or two

The drivers interior door panel has some pretty bad scratches though. I'll just put a dressing on it for now to help hide them.

Yeah Curtis I know....kick me

I'm installing my original upper door frame window seals. I bought some aftermarkets ...here are the differences. The OEM units have a metal insert to reenforce the mounting screw area. The aftermarket does not.

Here is an end view. The oem is a sturdier unit, the aftermarket just seemed too soft to me.
