Has anyone done this conversion? I have heard that someone makes the necessary headlight area tin that enables you to convert a 70 fender to a 71 so the dual headlight bracket can be installed. I have the dual headlight bracket, I need the tin that is welded into the front headlight area. I have searched the web with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Sal

Too bad you are so far away. I have 71 fenders and I need 70! I could certainly use the part of the 70 fender that you are removing, though? I just need the part of the fender that the headlight fits in. The guy I bought a bunch of parts from had removed the headlight buckets from several pass side fenders. They are perfectly good fenders besides that.

The headlight bucket is cut in a few spots where the previous owner tried to get the 71 bracket to fit. If you can't find another then this could be repaired. email me if you want it flitesweep@yahoo.com

Sure thing. I drop them off on the way to work Monday. Lol. They don’t have the gills though.
