I have not made any calls. I want to see if there’s anybody with real world experience with this converter behind more cubes. I know it’s been a very popular converter over the years.

I ran one last year behind my 505 , mid 10's footbraking . Was originally built for my 440 , stalled within 100rpm - 5000/5100 Ran good for about 7-8 years . Hub cracked , had it repaired kept going .

Yes great tight converter for the street and works well at the track with around 4200 stall. Two members come to mind ProSport and 383 man Both use the 9.5 Dynamic verts and love it with there 500,s and both are in the 10.s with mild motors.

I’ve got a 9 1/2 behind my 493, flashes to ~4500 running 3.55s and 28s, cruises all day on the street no problem.

May be tighter than you want with that cam. For max ET with his lightweight combo that vert will be most likely tighter with that 274* @ .050 But at 2700# that car is pretty light, with that 511, a tighter vert probably wont hurt much. He also indicated he wanted a conservative vert. So the 9.5 for its fairly cheap price wouldn't be a bad choice. But not the Best, for max ET

My 3450 lbs. pump gas Duster ran better and drove easier with T/A 8 inch high dollar SS/AA all out race converter built for foot brake racing than it did with the custom built 10.0 inch Continental behind my old 518 C.I. pump gas motor That motor had 906 heads on it at first and then the MCH CNC RPM heads and finally a set of Indy SR M.W. heads with a Indy 400-3 intake and 1050 CFM Dominator, that final combination was the one that ran the quickest ET and fastest MPH My current S/P bracket car had a all race 9 inch Mikes Transmission Powerglide converter along with the Mikes Ultra Glide tranny built for the old blown B1 motor that was in the car before I bought that car less motor, that setup with my 675HP E85 bracket 505 C.I. motor went a bunch of 9.0 at 147+ MPH at Woodburn in that car weighing right at 2800 Lbs. with me in it. I ended up having some troubles and took the tranny and converter to A1 trannys in Vancouver and they took both of them apart and recommended that I use the 8 inch race converter that I have from them over that nine inch They swear my car will go faster with it I'm getting ready to try it to see BTW, I like and use good (not cheap 8 inch converters ) 8 inch race converters in a lot of my street cars
