I have been told my block is finished, going to best machine on Wed for lifter bushings and will be shipped to me in the next week. I will post pictures as soon as it all happens. There is a lot more to say but I will wait till I have a block in my hands(it is not bad stuff either). Finally can be excited again about finishing my Dragster project, its been a long haul and I think everyone will be very happy at the outcome soon...

The facebook page says blocks will be going to those who have been waiting like WedgeFED. I'm sure Best will get them out as quickly as they can. I am interested to see what it will take or if it is possible to order a non "standard" block configuration. Like what I need and likely what you are after as well. It will make my decision on the garage sale

It will make my decision on the garage sale I've already had mine. All that's left is a Mopar roller. I'm about 90% settled on what I'm going to do and it doesn't involve waiting on anyone to build blocks. Waiting on some shoes to drop to see what the budget is.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

It will make my decision on the garage sale From a conversation with Tim the non standard offerings are going to be slimmed down. How much I don't know but to get things rolling again they plan on keeping it plain old vanilla. You'll have to call him to see if they'll build what you want or can leave pieces unfinished that you can finish yourself. That being said I ordered a block in Nov 2014. Last spoke to Tim last November when they were having main cap issues and haven't heard a peep since.

Call them twice a week and keep bugging them, for God's sake they have had your money long enough.

Well I am hoping likely against hope that they will at some point in the near future decide to make non standard stuff. I am not willing to wait forever for sure, honestly not much longer. Having to live on both coasts the last three plus years has slowed down my program. That is all ending in May and the plan it to ratchet things up and make some tough decisions. As it stands right now I am in need of a Raised cam, 55MM, pushrod oiled block. I don't necessarily like the option I have right now but I either go that way or just start off loading parts and moving on.

I dont want this to turn into another bash KB session, so please dont. I am simply going to say that they are really trying to make things right as best as they can. In the end, you will all probably find out what they have been going thru, and why this has been such a time consuming issue. Keep in mind, they DIDNT have to do a thing for anyone. It was not them that screwed anyone. They had no legal obligation to take care of anyone. There is one person that should be blamed. Period.
Again, I think you will see some nice pieces, and things will be better. They had to make some serious business and geographic decisions to escape several issues. A lot of what people have "assumed", or heard, may not be true.
I have no dog in this fight , simply " know some things" that are 100% from the source, and after a little while longer, I think many things will become evident why this was such a challenge.( Darren, Tim , Ray , Todd are all the initial involved, and are the hands on guys) Lets all hope them well and there will be good blocks again in the forseable future.

I was told std cam and raised cam in both hemi and wedge. There was some welding done on my block to thicken the valley rails as for the low deck makes it thin.

Well that's good news. Hopefully some info will come out sooner than later as to whether or not that can be done. Wish I could pick up the phone and order on right now and have confidence it would be ready with a solid timeframe. Hopefully that is coming. Nice to hear blocks are being made and hopefully at some point in the near future there will be blocks in the pipeline with the availability we all want.
