It sure doesn't look good from a quick search. Even Facebook and Facebook is usually where you can find out things real quick and up to date. On their website it did say the track is still for sale.

Funny Roxboro story Guess I should not tell this on myself but what the heck First time I ever went there they had buy back until you drop night--so first round I get an old man in a Aspen wagon I break out by .001 with a killer bulb--oh well buy back--get in line and get him second time around I have a .001 red and run dead on with a 2 damn! OK hang back get my mind right am 20th in line and wouldn't you know it he is right beside me--he rolls down the window in staging and yells out the window "ain't you had enough?" Ahh...Good Times! BTW I went .001 red 3rd round running dead on--so he has a good tale to tell at my expense but WTH
That track has seen Sox in the best part of his career --and McCandless--and many other "name" guys have all had big days there It used to be longer track back in the day
Hate to see any track close but that place is in the Boonies I mean Tobacco Road , Pine trees , nowhere--Looks close to I-85 and all but whew! It is in the tobacco fields or where they used to be
