orange elephants OP mopar Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 553 Chattanooga, TN	When did Dodge start installing 383 engines in 1967 Darts? Is there any documentation or literature about the 383 being available? The standard Dart brochure does not list the 383 as an available engine.

Rhinodart Rhinotruck Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 43,575 Round Lake Beach, Illinoisy	Yes, Chrysler was not going to put the 383 in a Dart, they started with the Barracuda early in the 67 model year, then Mr. Norm put one in a Dart and drove it to Detroit and begged them to make it available to Dodge.
