Very cool!! I just say a pic of it in the JY on abodiesonly. You bought the blue one also? What happened to that one? A blue Daytona must be rare? My friend John had a green one, now has a Y2 yellow one.
I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

Daytona looks beautiful! Glad to see it restored this way without all the overspray in the engine compartment. Agreed, although not technically correct for the OEM Gold crowd, I'd rather see the vehicle taken to the next level like this, as I view the icons like this vehicle of automotive history as rolling art, and the more you can do to improve their appearance to please the eye, all the much better!, I remember seeing this car in Mike's shop during a visit, it's come a long way, awesome work by Mancini and crew as expected Mike

The man that bought both cars from the salvage yard wasn't me. I just restored the red one. But..yes he did buy two daytonas from the same yard. Very cool. Mike, from the pictures I have seen, back when those Daytona's were found in the junkyard, there was also a 69 Hemi Charger 500,and a sunroof 69 Charger in the same photos. That was four of the rarest 69 Chargers ever built right in the same yard! Great work as usual on the Daytona restoration! Your shop should be the one on television!

The Hemi 500 that was there was ruined in a fire but I was also told it has been rebodied now too. The B5 Daytona is still owned by John. Won OE gold at Mopar Nationals a few years back
On the hunt for my dad's old cars. They include 5 Daytona's, 2 superbirds, and 2 500's. Very interested in finding the Red on Red Daytona, and Q5 Charger 500, and have found both cars.
