Well while this is not the exact car it would be one of these. Let the bashing begin. I have been having so much fun trying to make the Cuda faster I just want more, and frankly my porky pig Barracuda is not gonna do it. I want a TS Grudge TYPE car...This car with my engine would run 7.50's easily IMO.

Dont get me wrong. There are some very nice 6.0 Mopars for sale I just think they are not priced accordingly. The above Vette is a McAmis car for $45 roller. What appeals to me is the weight The above car weighs 2055lb race ready. Most of these I have inquired about are there or less for the most part.

I am still actively looking for a 6.0 Mopar and frankly that Cuda last year would have been the car but IMO the price was top high. I can find a similarly set up Vette for $20+K less. While there are a few Mopars out there that are more reasonably priced those just dont appeal to me.

I just love this style Vette as a race car. One just like it (but green) won the A gas portion of last weekend's WCHRA race at Speed World.

Well part two of this equation is my son

Whats wrong with the Camaro for your son? Its a 10 second car on motor and who knows how much faster it can be with the spray.. Also, its a good looking car outside of the color and his friends would envy him.. Shoot, I envy him and I'm not even a friend..

Regardless of what you do or how you go about doing it.. Your car is gonna be fast.. dang fast.

that daytona is nice but not currently certified and the 100" wheelbase could make for an exciting T/S ride

I say go for it Al if you can't find what you want. life is to short to worried about a fiberglass body style.

The way I read this is not looking for leads necessarily..but a feel for the "Market"
Quality always sells no matter what the stockmarket says. That said there is always exceptions.
Its always good for entertainment value to browse thought the adds here..the ones where you get a 5 gal bucket of rust, vin tag, "bill of sale only" for $8,000
These guys are the ones that are hurting the most, and rightfully so.
But Mopars always seem overpriced in comparison. Might be worth a call to some of the chassis builders to see if they have any ongoing projects that have hit a money wall
