The interior lights come on when you open the door. You have power thru the fusible link/thru the ammeter/thru the welded splice & to the headlight switch at least. More than one issue I am thinking. seperate/reinstall the bulkheads and the st col pull apart connector as sometimes this is enough to restore continuity on them. see if the yellow "ign" wire at the starter relay is hot when someone turns the ign key to "start". grab your VOM. EDIT with more thought I would start with the turn signal pull apart connector, cuz that is where it started, & it likely has the ign sw feed.

So basically nothing that gets 12v power when the ignition is on is working. If you want to see the motor turn over you can disconnect the brown wire off of the starter relay and run it to the positive battery post. This will bypass the ignition switch entirely and engage the starter.
From what this sounds like it is either the ignition switch itself or whatever is supplying the power to it further up the line. I'm at work right now and don't have access to my service manual. I can look tonight, but won't be home until late.
The ignition switch itself isn't hard to pull out. It's mounted on the column about halfway down and is engaged by linkage from the key. You can drop the column down without much fuss if you need more space to work (it doesn't need to come out of the car).

As RapidRobert wrote, it's not the fusible link, because you have power, otherwise you wouldn't have any lights, etc. It would be like there was no battery in the car.
MarkM gave some good advice on the ignition switch. Run your hand down the left side of the column and find the ignition switch and see if it's loose. You'll have to remove the plastic cover that uses plastic press ins to fasten. See if the switch moves up and down, even a little. If it does, try moving it while turning the key to start car.
Facts are stubborn things.

Did you check the wiring plug on the steering column under the dash?
While the wheel is off you can check for power up there with a meter.

Before I went thru trouble of pulling the wheel, I'd check the ignition switch located down the column left side. As I wrote earlier, if it loosened up over time, it can move around when you turn the key. You may be able to hold it in place, and turn key and get car to start. Then you'll know you just need to tighten it down, or replace.

The yellow wire on the starter relay does not have power when trying to crank the engine. there is an open somewhere inbetween the "ST" (start) terminal on the ign switch out to/thru the bulkhead & out in the yellow wire to the starter relay "ign" terminal. Start at the ign sw (or the bulkhead) & see if the specific bulkhead terminal in the firewall half is hot while cranking & work upstream or downstream from there. unless there has been too much amperage (somewhat rare) that has burned up the strands or all broken strands from too much flexing (extremely rare), wiring goes bad at the terminals/connections.

(1) It originates from the "ST" terminal on the ign sw. (2) yes. Start at the bulkhead & work upstream (back to ign sw) or downstream (out to starter relay) for the open
