Bud's Auto Sales and Bower Hill Auto Body is pleased to announce that our local Keystone Nostalgia Series will be at Keystone again this year, for the fourth year. This little series, and it's as big as we want it to get, has been received much more than Ronnie, Pat and I had ever expected, generally drawing 30-45 cars depending on the weather, the size of the event, etc. It's a series by geezers and for geezer and those who in the future will be geezers, and we run six events at Keystone. No buy backs, .4 tree, dial with a zero or a .05, no electronics, not only for NSS cars but we allow gassers, modifieds, stuff like that. So, keep us in mind, if you are looking to have some fun and get the old iron out. More details on our facebook page, or drop me a line. If you are looking to argue about the rules, don't bother. Ain't happening. If you are someone who wants to enjoy some cammeradity, have some fun, c'mon and try it. If you are super serious and want to race for blood, this may not be for you. But, we're throwing it out there. $700 win, $300 RU..... https://www.facebook.com/Keystone-Nostal...03747029924811/Friday, May 4 Friday, June 1st Friday, July 6th Friday, August 3 Friday, August 24 Saturday, September 29.

I've been doing this race for a couple years. Lots of fun with a variety of good looking cars and friendly drivers. It's a fun race. The .004 tree is a challenge, but it's equally challenging to everyone. I'm hoping to be there again this year.
4 speed street legal. Best time 10.99 @ 124 mph on 93 octane pump gas @ 3926# total weight

Thanks for the kind words. We will allow a transbrake, but if you use it you must dial to the nearest tenth. Otherwise must dial to nearest half tenth. The only electronics otherwise is a two step for stick cars in deference to the guys who have to clean up the starting line. 68Lar, who posted earlier, has one of the cleanest 4 speed Road Runners around, and there are several of them.
The reason for the .4 tree is exactly that......to level the playing field. It is equally challenging whether you've sat it out for thirty years or if you are a killer bracket guy. That is exactly what we want. We've had a lot of different winners, and, that, too, is what we want. We want it to be fun deal, not a killer bracket event. The rules are on our facebook page. so if I use the transbrake I cant have a 2 step ?? I have a 2 step to leave at 3000 rpms but I don't have a delay box. whats the difference ? its doing the same thing as the 4 speed cars are using it for ??

To be honest, most guys with the transbrakes elect not to use them to be more adjustable in their dial. I don't use one, never have, so I don't know, but that's what I've noticed. The difference is without the two step the stick car is freewheeling the engine, and that is often when failure happens. It's much easier to control that with the two step.........so, that rule was a special request from those whose task it would be to clean it up.
