I have seen a couple of differing intake A12 intakes. Some with CH6 on the heat riser and some without. Some with the ending Chrysler number being 8 and some with a 6. Some with what looks like a 6 which has a longer tail. etc...

What does a factory original look like vs. later versions? Maybe someone could post a picture of an original?

Thanks,
Buddy

Buddy, the CH6 is an over the counter replacement.
Some originals will have the 6 appearing to be a smashed 8.

a "longer tail" 6 (or odd shaped) ending Chrysler part number and no CH6 or CH6B were mostly found on original cars. Folklore has it that the 6 ending part numbers with the CH6/CH6B were that era ('69/'70) over the counter replacement, for sale parts or updated (some had flaws and needed replaced under warranty) dealer warranty issues? Hey, I'm only keeping the myths, rumors and folklore alive
