Yes, never had any problems, but that applies only to the screws, bolts, nuts, etc. that he sells. I have not had anything rechromed by him.

Do some digging on Google. I have read some threads where folks were not happy customers. Quality of work not always as expected and his 'personality' made some folks not want to deal with him.

I've had no dealings with him, so I'm just saying you should keep digging and draw your own conclusions.

I wouldn't use them if they were the only shop on earth!

Several years ago I sent them beautiful plastic dash cores for re-chroming for a customer of mine (which they gauranteed I'd get back) and they sent me back someone elses junk, no reason, no excuses, horible after the fact service. The parts they sent were improperly detailed to boot and the quoted lead time was off by months. I've heard many other similar stories from others. You have several other choices these days, I see no reason to chance it with "G's".

for nuts and bolts I don't think you can beat
www.amkproducts.com. I redid a 70 Coronet,
every nut, bolt, widget, doo-hickey, and screw.
I found 99% of everything at that place.

Not cheap, but definitely there!

I did not find:

factory A/C water valve mounting screws
factory power steering gearbox bolts...

Everything else you can either get an exact match
right down to the plating and ensignia on the bolt
or something very, close finish, size wise w/o
the matching ensignia..

I just sent in my 68 Roadrunner bezel.. IT was in aveage shape for 40 year old plastic.
In about a week I had a nice (NOT PERFECT) replated bezel that I am very happy with.
Best of all it was made in USA..

I drove to his dumpy place amid the junkyards and checked it out. Talked to him about parts and prices for my 65 Satellite. I did'nt buy anything and never will with his attitude. Illegals do all the plating in his sweat shop.

i found his attitude is horrible and his work is the worst i have ever seen. run not walk. hes a disgrace to the hobby.

I had a 67 cuda dash rechromed by him, sent in plywood fitted foam case, received back in case but cracked at the radio holes like someone picked it up by one end and broke the plastic. Refused to make good on it as was damaged in shipment!!!! Due to poor packaging, [Edited by Moparts - Keep it clean]?
Worse yet when taped off and painted the 3M tape pulled off the chrome.
Never again, p poor customer service and accountability, would suggest Paul's Chrome plating in PA, as I understand they have a much better process for chroming plastic.

I had very poor experiences with him & his attitude about 10 years ago. Too bad for him-I've spent well over $30,000 in dash plating & fasteners since then. Guess thats a good reason to treat everyone with respect, you never know who could be a long term, large customer.
I'm not sure how he is still in business!

Same out come for http://www.cvvacuumplaters.com/ too! Sent a dash bezel for a 66 chevy there took 6+ months to get it ony to have it cracked. sent it back to get repaired since they were going to do it free. Got it back in 2 1/2 months with runs in the clear.

OK, Mr. G is out and CV looks questionable also, so who do you guys recommend? Who is left?
