I have the DeWalt 20 volt and it works great. Even in the garage I hardly ever use my air impact to take the wheels off and on. I ordered the "pin-type" retainer instead of the ring because some of my sockets are getting old and worn out. Gus

Anothervote for Milwaukee.
Was VERY impressed when I tried it on my 2014 Ram for tire rotation. I have an older Snap On and the Milwaukee is way ahead.

I got a DeWalt 1/2" drive about 4 years ago. Was really surprised how much torque it has. Ingersoll air impact has/t been out of the cabinet since.
it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

Well, blewbyu, looks like you get to take your pick from the three manufacturers. DeWalt Milwaukee Makita They still are all pretty much on sale from internet vendors, and at Lowes, and Home Depot, or other hardware stores in your city.

About 2 years ago I bought a Ryobi. and I have ZERO complaints with it. I can torque a wheel lug on to 100ftlbs and the impact will take them off no problems. I dont care if it will put it back on that tight or not, I go over lugs with a torque wrench anyway. Is it the best one out there? probably not. But for the money I sure cant complain. I bought it on sale for I think was well under $100 But I have to be honest. It will do 99% of the work I'll ever need it to do. I have the 3/8" version as well. Again ZERO complaints. My only advice is get the bigger upgraded batteries for them . https://images.homedepot-static.com/prod...260-64_1000.jpg

I have a 4 way spinner that I bought for $8 that lets me take off lug nuts torqued to 100 ft/lbs. Never need charging either. No batteries to fail,
