Looking for the plug that is on the firewall on a 73 d100? I'm guessing it's where the rod would pass through on a stick truck? Looked everywhere, eBay, truck sites, etc. it's about 1 1/4"x 2 1/4". Thanks for any help.

Yes that is for the clutch push rod.
B-vans used the same setup and most of them were built with torqueflites so they would have the filler plug there instead of the rod and boot. I would imagine up until the late 80's or even early 90's that hole was still there and just got plugged. Thanks 135sohc, I'm headed to the junkyard, I guess.

That one is too big! Lol. I think Hugh Jorgan might have me covered. I have a 65 belvedere and already tried that one and it was too big. Thanks again for the effort, though!

"Sent me the block off plate wrapped up in a dodge truck glove box manual!" ... "ALL FOR FREE!!!" Yeah, I have a friend that has a big bag of various sized corks. He won't throw 'em away, but tries to give one away every chance he gets. I wish he had an abundance of something useful...
