I am looking for dimensions of the Hemi ebody throttle cable.
1. I need the length of the exterior cable which is the part from the firewall to the Carb closed position.
2. I need the full length of the cable.
Thanks for any help.

What is the name of your company? Please. And what are the prices, restored, vs repo?

MB I have a new Mopar Performance Throttle Cable with a part number of P4529112, if that is what you are looking for or is it for a another year beside a 1970-71 E Body. How many 1971 Hemi E Bodies have you restored now.

So since 71 share a common unibody this is the cable the op is looking for to copy. It will just save me trying to get a measurement off two cars that are next to impossible to get to for a measurement.
So this is what Mauro is looking for.

Yes, e and 71 b the same. The 70/71 parts book gives a p/n of 3418 841. My question to the op is his repo cables going to be made in china? I'm on my second one, the first on broke at the ball on first use, and the second one just lasted 2000 miles before it started to disintegrate. PG in Canada is from what I can find out the only importer for these cables. Just wondering....could the firewall plastic grommet on a 71 be made to fit the 68/69 cable like the MP P4529112 like you talked about. There are still a few dealers that have them in stock. Reason I ask is they are only around $30.

The OP is likely not going to have them made in China, I would think they will be made in Ontario were he lives. I think this would be a small build with numbers. If the part number I listed is what he needs to copy to make a 1971 or 1970 Hemi E Body Throttle Cable I will lend it to him so he can have these done but the OP is very particular being in the OEM GOLD restoration Business so it has to be correct for him to copy. I guess I will have to give Mauro a call.

Thanks for the answers to what I have Mauro, it is a B Body Hemi Throttle Cable like you told me on the phone. A little shorter than an E Body Cable and a different firewall piece also. I would say there is a small market for these 1970-71 E Body and 1971 B Body Hemi Throttle Cables but if 1500 Hemi Cars is a small market and then add in the clones. If one ever breaks on your Hemi Car were would you find one that works correctly and how long would your Hemi Car be sitting for till you can pry one out of someone that has the real deal. I would likely be interested in a Back up Cable if you make enough of them, better to be prepared with one on the shelf than to look for one all summer and likely this is a one time deal if MB decides to make a run of them.

Like I said, only one source for them now, and those are junk, if you want to drive your car any, you could put one of those on and never have to depend on it, if it is a trailer queen. The problem with the current repos is durability, mine worked fine until it started to fall apart...so, I'm not gonna spend another 70/80 dollars plus shipping from Canada for a cable that only will last one summer. Now, I'm talking about the current cables that are for sell.
