Compare the little stuff too. Some have the circuit printed every few inches. That's good when you cut the wiring shorter. Most will work with Mopar components, some are GM only and will need mods. Ask about all the connector ends. Compare what your needs are future plans are to the size and type of fuse box. Ron Francis was one of the first, and has continued to refine his product. Just like Vintage Air, I have to give them the first nod, since they pioneered the product, have gone through more generations instead of copying a sucessful product, and have stood the test of time, which means happy customers.

i have also researched this, ron francis is and was mopar friendly,,all the after market wiring harneses are GM color coded,,ron francis has all the mopar diagrams for how ever you want to run your ignition or charging system, painless also has diagrams, but they only come with there biggest system, but are available from them via email or a fax,,ron francis add on parts are cheaper then the painless prices,,altho some have used EZ wire kits in basic hot rods with normal things that a factory car came with ,,,no windows,no a/c etc,,.,,im going wit ha ron francis kit,,just got the catolog

I would avoid any wiring kit that has the wires pre-terminated at the main board.

EZ Wiring is pre-terminated and labeled every couple of inches. i have used several and love them! good instruction manual, too, if youre a wiring newbie....
In a conversation with a Wyoming State Patrolman... "A 318 ??!!! But I clocked you at 142 mph!!!"

Quote:
I have used many EZ wire kits and have had great luck with them. They include mopar diagrams in the instructions and they are about a third or less of the price of a Ron Francis. 195.00!
would you say the wires are long enough to run thru the frame to hide head lite and altenator wiring, going from one side of the car out forward across to the other side frame rail and to the altenator, up to the water temp sensor ??
are there any provisions for relays for fuel pump, horn , and H4 head lites?? and are the wires assembled to the fuse block ?? any time ive spoken to any wiring company at a rod event other then ron francis,,all i get is no mopar diagrams,,or the biggest comment i get is we cant get the plugs,,,thanks
