Sorry nothing exciting to report this time. Made a few decent runs, still a turd out of the whole 60' wise. Best was only 1.24, with carrying the fronts only 12-18"off the tarmac past the 60' clock. I had a few issues at the top of first gear as well with the car getting loose, there were tons of street cars at the track and prep was about as bad as I have seen it.
Gonna put some new shoes on the old gal for the MATS. We lost the old log book and frankly I am unsure of how many passes are on them right now, we know it is at least 100. They are 18 months old as well so I am just gonna throw some new Goodyears on it.
Oh yeah 164MPH
and I think we can squeeze maybe another 1 out of it. Might be able to run 10.90 at 160 yet. That is next on my plate after some post MATS upgrades.
and will go at it again tomorrow. I sure am glad I enjoy this stuff, cause if I did not I think I might be headed for a padded room at this point. So wish us some good luck and hopefully we can have something positive to report this time tomorrow
