thought i'd show you the promo discs on the A12 superbee. Ride with the Dodge boys. i got the correct mounting screws at a vintage speed shop in my area. i looked through hundreds of bolts to match up like my A12 roadrunner discs. heres a picture of the discs installed. how do you like them?

You asked so I will tell you I do not like the discs at all I do not like them on a Runner I do not like them on a Bee, but if you must have them I prefer the RR version. I am of course stating my dislike for the discs as a bit of a joke, but They are pretty neet when the car is in motion! The first spinners (non spinner spionners) I think?
I prefer them mounted on a wall

thanks i do agree that they dont look so good like the A12 roadrunner, my wife says they look gay. she says "ride with the dodge boys" is that a line from brokeback mountain.
anyway i think they are cool for a car show. ill switch around from discs to no discs.
right now i'll crerish the moment and keep them on for a while. but how about finding original hardware for the discs very cool.

LMAO!! She is right!! I think the car is awesome and the discs would look great parked at a show, but for "cruising" no pun intended I would leave them off.

I'd make a custome set, maybe some with those mud flap naked ladies or something. Or here's a good one, a bumper sticker of some sort like "Chevies- They're what's for dinner"

Chris,

I don't care much for the Dodge Boy discs. I wasn't sure I liked my Roadrunner discs much on my K-2. I thought they looked great on Ed Cook's X-9.

But....the first time my car debuted as a show with them on and I pulled in it was like an E.F. Hutton commercial. Everyone stopped what they were doing and started staring and pointing. The non-spinning discs do freak people out a bit.

Are you bringing both A12's to Carlisle?

Have a set made with the scat pack bee on them. I can't believe someone has not done it yet. They would be perfect on a bee if you like the disks.

Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

Chris: Nice touch of period correct icing on the cake. I'd race with them on if they wouldn't harm anything (wheel paint, come off, etc.), just to freak people out!

John, i had to try it out. its cool and all but i think its going to get old fast or maybe grow on me. not sure yet. but its different.
john, they wont come off, they are attached to the wheel spindles with a special slotted nut.
the only thing im not too thrilled about is there is no cotter pin in the spindle now.
wasnt sure if you would like it or not.

Chris: As others have said too, it depends on what you're doing with the car. If you're taking it to a serious show, I'd put them on so people have an idea how the car was actually delivered - like with the window sticker you've attached. But if you're gonna cruise around or race...I'd leave them off. Kinda cool, as I've never seen the Dodge covers in person. That would be a treat for folks, I guess. John
