Got a question for you 71 bee guys. Are there two different bulge hood stampings? More specifically, are there different cut-outs in the N96 hood as compared to the hood that had the insert? How about the understructure? Got a buddy with a 71 bee he is gonna restore and didn't know the answer to this for him. TIA, jess

Different hood. The Ramcharger cut out is much smaller than the regular Bee cut out for the insert. Does the hood with the insert use a std. bulge hood inner, as there is not "mechanism" to clear as there is with N96?

I dont understand your question but ive both hoods if youd like side by side pics.
Ive never really looked that hard but outwardly id think they are different. I think the OP is concerned with the rear vent "cut outs", esp if it's a replicated air grabber using a 72 and later non AG power bulge hood as the donor?....
